When Bryan Crister founded Outdoor-FX, he quickly learned of the need for custom pool builders in and around Columbus, OH. Bryan met that need when he created Pool-FX, a specialized team of builders who design and construct custom in-ground pools.

Since that time, Pool-FX has become the go-to for anything custom pool related.

We’ll first work through designs until we find exactly what you’re looking for. Once you’ve approved the design, we’ll get started on construction. We keep you updated on every step of the build, especially when you can expect to start enjoying your new pool!

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & CERTIFICATIONS

At our company, we take pride in our team's certifications and commitment to excellence in the pool-building industry. Our founders, Bryan Critser and Gary Wittenauer our Project Manager currently hold the prestigious Certified Pool Builder (CBP) Certification and the Certified Advanced Pool Builder Professional (ACBP) Certification.

These nationally recognized designations require extensive knowledge and training in building all types of swimming pools. To achieve CBP certification, Bryan and Gary completed the GENESIS Construction School course and passed the CBP exam. For the ACBP certification, they completed the GENESIS Fluid Hydraulics for Pools and Spas course and passed the Advanced CBP exam.

Our team's dedication to continuous learning and improvement in the industry is further demonstrated by our membership in the Pool & Hot Tub Alliance (PHTA). As a community of professionals, the PHTA supports and promotes higher standards of practice in the pool and hot tub profession through education, advocacy, standards development, research, and market growth.
